Introduced in 1961 like a result of a cooperative venture in between Harley-Davidson and Aermacchi of Italy, the Sprint was powered by a 250-cc horizontal four-stroke single.

Despite being decidedly contrary to Harley's classic merchandise of your time, the Sprint was rather common with buyers.

Little had altered by 1966, though styling had turn into relatively more modern-day. Both street and on/off-road Scrambler versions have been provided by that time, and modified versions enjoyed a fair degree of competitors accomplishment.

Displacement enhanced to 350 cc for 1969 around the street-going Sprint -- now identified as the SS -- when the Scrambler model did not get the more substantial engine right up until 1972.

Both versions disappeared following 1974 to be replaced by machines, also developed by Aermacchi.
